It must be by His death. Even Nicodemus has now sold out. "Does our Law judge a man before it hears Him?" he asks, innocently. Check and see Nicodemus, if you or anyone else who has become swayed by this "Prophet;" find one Scripture that validates a prophet from Galilee. Galilee!!
And then this son of a carpenter has the nerve to ride into the city yesterday, gathering every eye and heart, drawing every gullible imagination within view of Him. And then they began to praise Him! Praise Him as though He were God! I insisted that He rebuke them. "If they cease, the rocks will cry out," He said. I'll show you rocks, Galilean! The only authentic thing about His entrance was that He rode a donkey. Ha! If He could only have seen Himself!
This high profile and craving for attention will make it difficult, but not impossible. We've tried to "put Him away" now for quite some time. How does He continue to elude us? Well, it seems to me His luck is running out. Persistance, High Priest. Persist, and you will prevail.
