I asked Him, "Who do you pretend to be?"  He would not answer me!  Would not answer the High Priest?  Oh, well, perhaps we Pharisees will just have to become a bit more... persuasive in our strategies!!  Will not answer me.  We shall see about that, Galilean, we shall see; and it will be sooner rather than later.

He has Nicodemus firmly in his court--the fool.  My spies inform me that Nicodemus is spending quite a bit of time with the Carpenter, listening to Him, swallowing His words hook, line, and sinker.  Now I'm becoming uncomfortable with young Phineas, and I'm concerned that he too is getting swallowed into this cesspool developing.  How to stop them from abandoning generations of tradition, from ruining the legacy of law and priesthood?!  Stop the Galilean, and we'll stop the evacuation.  He won't just go away, so we must silence Him permenantly.  It must be by His death.

It is becoming more and more apparent that He is not the only one who must give His life for the sake of Israel.  Lazarus is becoming more and more a public figure.  People streaming to him to hear his story--a story indeed, a fable, a rediculous fabrication!!!  And we stand silently by, watching the foolish, common people stream to story tellers...  Easy now.  Take care of the source, and the flood of deception will cease.  But first, someone must decease.  Of that, I am certain.
