I am so thankful that we have a heavenly Father that will walk with us, even through the messes we sometimes make. Father is not ashamed of us nor is He threatened by our mistakes. In fact, I Corinthians 10:13 states that “God is faithful… that you might be able to bear it.” Father is full of faith, believing that you cannot just make it but that you can carry (bear) it all the way through. Earlier, the verse says, “but with the temptation will also make a way of escape, that you might be able to bear it.”
Many times we get ourselves in a mess and then want God to get us out supernaturally. Sometimes He will, but whether He works a way for us to escape out of the temptation or He strengthens us to walk through the situation and out the other side, His desire is always to grow us and strengthen us through every situation, even temptation. Father never brings or sends the temptation just as James 1 tells us that He can’t tempt with evil.
